In the 1970's, we wore Prisoner of War (P.O.W.) bracelets. Today, we also keep others in our memories; Victims of Terrorism and Military Casualties. To keep the memory alive of those who have died at the hands of terrorists or fighting terrorism, we now also wear Memorial Bracelets. Below are some of the stories that we have received.
I own 4 other POW bracelets and 1 KIA bracelet. I wanted to add one from the current situation. My first bracelet is over 30 years old and my KIA is for a personal friend, both from Viet Nam. I have a bracelet from the Korean war and 2 from Desert Storm. All POWS except Korea were recovered alive.
