For My 21 Year Old Nephew in Iraq

I my oldest nephew was sent to Iraq in late January, 2003 and he will turn 21 in May.  What a place to have your 21st birthday!!!.  I bought the bracelets for myself and my husband to show our support of our nephew and all the others serving.

I received my bracelet today. It is absolutely beautiful. I did not expect the engraving to be as detailed as it is...it just sparkles! I am very pleased, it will be something to pass on to my kids and grandkids (whenever that might be)!

I ordered this bracelet in response to the photograph I had seen of James Riley in the April 7th edition of Time magazine. It is a still of the Iraqi broadcast that was aired. I was between sets working out, reading the magazine when I saw his picture. I saw the look on his face and i burst into tears, I could not help myself. It tore my heart out. There were alot of guys working out around me, I had to excuse myself and went to sit by myself in the locker room and pray for him, for all of them. I have prayed for them repeatedly, every day, and now continue to pray for the MIA's. When I came across your sight, I did not hesitate to order from you. I wish they knew how many people's hearts they are in.

Anyway, thank you for a wonderful product, I will wear it proudly in memory of all of our troops and the risks they take for our freedom.

For My Son Serving in the Middle East

I wore a POW bracelet back in the 70's and actually almost got thrown out of gym class because I refused to take it off.  Guess I was true to my convictions even back then.

The bracelets that I ordered from you were in support of my son who is currently serving in the Middle East.  His location is not known, at least by me because the military still views it a "classified".  Although I have spoken with him once and get email from him periodically, I thought that the bracelet to show support for the troops was a wonderful idea.  

Only a week prior to finding your website, I was talking with my husband and asked him if he remembered the POW bracelets and commented that someone should do that again.  Once I receive my bracelet, I will wear it proudly and will take it off at the Air Base when my son comes home and hand it to him to become part of his "memories" to do with as he will.

In Memory of the September 11 Attack on the US

My roommate and I each ordered one in memory of the September 11 attack on the US. We are both members of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University, and I will be pursuing a commission into the US Army upon graduation in 2005. My roommate and I wanted to wear the bracelets in support of the brave, dedicated troops that are overseas now, and to help us not take everyday life for granted in memory of the victims of Sept 11 and their families. It is the only piece of jewelry we are allowed to wear with the Corps uniform, and rightly so. I am looking forward to serving our great country and protecting the land I love as soon as I graduate college, and keep in mind daily the sacrifices already made to preserve the great American freedom.

To Pass the Commitment to our Country Down to my Children

Just a note to let you know that I received my memorial bracelets today. They are great, and I was glad to receive them even though it seems that the war is winding down. I also noticed that you offered World Trade Center bracelets which I also ordered for my two boys who love the city of New York and were devastated when the World Trade Center went down.

I started my bracelet collection when I received my first MIA bracelet during the Vietnam war, which I still have. I consider myself a very patriotic American and have always supported our troops after coming from a military family. My father was in the Marine Corps. I have tried to pass this commitment to our country down to my children which is why the Memorial bracelets are important.

To Let Shoshana Johnson's Family Know I Care

The reason I ordered the bracelet is because my heart went out to those that were captured. I wanted to let Shoshana Johnson's family that I cared. I wish there was a way that I could find out how to contact the family so I could let them know that I will continue to pray for her until the day the I go to meet the Lord. She will always have a place in my heart and prayer life.

To Remember To Pray for our Soldiers

I had gotten the names of our service men through "Adopt our Troops - in prayer" from the Presidential Prayer Team.  When I found your website I thought it would be good to have a bracelet made so we would remember to prayer for our soldiers on a daily basis.  Our bracelets say - Pray for our Troops with the name of our serviceman listed and the branch of the military they are in (we also added the flag to it).

Yes, they are very nice and I am glad to have received them today (April 11), after having a stressful day at work.  It reminds me however, that my day pales in comparison to all those serving their country and keeping us safe here in America.  God Bless our Troops

I have a bracelet from the Korean war and 2 from Desert Storm. All POWS except Korea were recovered alive.

I received my Memorial Bracelet today and I think it's great. It reminds me of the POW bracelets from the Vietnam war. I work second shift and my shift decided to send a package to some of the soldiers who are not getting any mail, etc. I was looking for information on the internet about where to send packages for soldiers in Iraq when I ran across the Memorial Bracelets website and I knew that I had to have one. I do support all of our troops and their mission in Iraq. I can show that support by wearing this bracelet.

To Show Support and Love for Our Troops

I received my bracelet and just love it.  Just one more way to show how I feel.   Years ago during the Viet Nam war my brother bought a bracelet, silver, like mine that had the name and rank of a POW.  You were to wear it until your person came home.  Well he was never able to find out if this soldier came home or now.  He still wears this bracelet to this day.  I wish I could find out for him.  

You see our dad was Marine during World War II.  Once a Marine-Always a Marine !  We have always been a very patriotic family.  Always flew a flag !  Since the events of September 11th,  My front porch has had a flag up and has been decorated in Red/White & Blue, year round since that horrific day.  I wanted to show my support for our country and  for President Bush.  I have always worn some type of flag pin (homemade or bought) every single day and yes my little old car even sports a USA car flag.

I ordered the bracelet, as anything I can do as a civilian to show my support and love for our troops, and our Free country, well makes me feel good.  I wish I knew someone that was over there now so I could write to them to give them my support, but I don't.  So I found the Operation Dear Abby site and have been sending e-mails this way to the Marines.  Alot of other people also send e-mails this way. So if you don't have anyone personally you can write to, this at least helps you to feel you do. 

I think your bracelet is a great idea. The engraving is very pretty and the flag is a nice touch.  It's wonderful that the profits are going to this Terrorism Preparedness Fund.  I certainly hope you sell alot of these bracelets. I sometimes feel we have a divided country because of the war and I have heard alot of the soldiers aren't feeling the support of the people.  So sad.  But no one really wants to go to war. No one wants our troops to get wounded or killed and we certainly don't like civilians to get killed.  But in war these things do happen.  Some of our troops have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, her people, and our freedom.  We are a very strong and powerful nation. I thank God we didn't still have the former President at the time. I believe President Bush is a great president and has done what certainly was needed to be done.  I definitely feel we could never have backed down from the events of September 11th.  Our Nation has to stay strong.  I am a proud person and thank you for giving me one more way to show it.  God Bless Our Troops!  and God Bless The USA! - Karon  >^..^<

To Contribute to the Support of Our Troops

 I received my "Support Our Troops" bracelets yesterday.  I ordered 2 .... one for myself and one for my 12 year old son, Dylan - who is a pure patriot thru and thru !  In our home, cartoons and movies have been replaced with news broadcasts of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  We recognize our troops as the genuine heros and superstars.  Some say it is not healthy for Dylan to be exposed to so much of the war.  I disagree.  It is teaching him the true meaning and cost of freedom.  Since he was 8 year old, Dylan has expressed a genuine desire to become a Marine (following in my father's footsteps) .... and I have no doubt that he will see his dream come true.  Nothing would make me more proud.

We have felt so helpless in the last few weeks, and wanted to do something to feel like we were contributing and supporting our troops.  I accidentally came across your web-site and was so excited to find it.  It brought back memories of my 6th grade year, when our teacher purchased bracelets for each of us that contained the name of either a POW or an MIA during the Vietnam War.  I remember how "important" I felt at 12 years old .... I remember making a commitment to pray daily for the soldier whose name was engraved on my bracelet.  I wish I knew what ever happened to my bracelet and my soldier.  That image is still very vivid in my mind some 30 years later.  And THAT is what I wanted to give to my son .... A sense of pride, importance, commitment, respect and responsibility to our troops, our president and our country.  

We put on our bracelets last night and made a commitment not to remove them until this war is over and our troops are home.  The bracelets will serve as a constant reminder to pray for and support our troops.  It is also our hope that others will notice and inquire about them so that we can share our patriotism.  I suppose it is a small gesture, but it carries with it great meaning.  We are both extremely proud to wear our bracelets as a symbolic expression of our love for our country.  GOD BLESS AMERICA.

To Teach My Daughter to Care For Others

I purchased it for my daughter and she is proud to wear it. (she is 14 year old middle school student)   It is  very nice.  I was looking for a bracelet like what were worn during the Vietnam War time for POWs.  I was trying to show her and explain about them when she said she wanted one.  She wore it to school today and everyone wanted to know where she got it and told her how much they like it.  It is so hard for children to understand war, it is a very scary time for them, and maybe to understand even a part of caring for others who are helping us to be a safe and free nation is something. - Carol L.
