To Always Remember How Quickly Lives Can Change

I have received my bracelet and have not taken it off since I opened the package. The bracelet is much appreciated and is a beautiful tribute. I wanted something that I could wear every day to remind me of the lives lost on that tragic day. I did not personally know anyone in the towers, but every person who died, survived or aided others on that day deserves recognition. I want to always remember how quickly lives can change and I wanted a physical representation of my memory. Thank you so much for giving me the closure that I needed. In Honor of Diane Lipari Take From Us at the WTC

I received my Memorial Bracelet in honor of Diane Lipari who was taken from us during the attack on the World Trade Center.  This bracelet has special meaning to me because she was the sister of a very dear friend of mine, Lorraine G., who I have only know through phone conversations over the past 10 years or so.  

Next week, I will be flying to New York on business and will finally meet Lorraine and another dear friend Helen V. for the first time.  Every day we remember all those who lost their lives during the 911 attack and hold them near to our hearts and pray for them and those they have left behind.  God Bless America.

I use to be a cadet/intern for the Arlington County Fire Department and I saw how hard a firefighter job can be sometimes and I wanted to get a bracelet because I wanted to pay my respects to the firefighters who died on September 11, 2001.

To Not Forget The Pain We All Felt on that Horrible Day

My bracelet is beautiful. It's perfect and I wear it everyday. I ordered a bracelet because I live an hour north of the city and being so close and such an easy commute, a few people I know were in or around the World trade center. My beautiful city and its heart were destroyed. We must stay strong and we mustn't forget the pain we all felt that horrible day. We will not forget. But we will fight to bring the people who did this to justice. Thank you for your memorial bracelet it means a lot to me.

With Great Pride for Our Son and Our Troops

The reason I ordered a Memorial Bracelet is because I have a son serving a 1 year tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq.  He is with the 1st Armored Division of the U.S. Army and we are very proud of him and the job he is doing.  He has many days ahead of him.  He is a very patriotic American and felt very strongly about fighting the war on terrorism.  I will wear this with great pride of our troops.

I found your website while searching for FDNY Memorial stuff. 

It was just by chance that I found your site, but I am very glad

that I did.

The reason I decided to get the bracelet that I did was because

it seems to me that everyone has forgotten about the Heroes that

died in that PA field.  The fact that they voted first before

ever doing anything was fantastic.  True democracy at it's

finest.  Anyway, I found this neat watch that had small dials on

the face of the watch that showed when the first tower was hit,

when the Pentagon was hit and when the second tower fell.  But

nothing for the Heroes of PA.  That's why I was so glad to have

found your site.

For My Aunt and Friends Lost on 9/11

I LOST MY AUNT AND SOME FRIENDS.  MY WIFE AND MY BROTHER MADE IT OUT JUST BEFORE TOWER 2 CAME DOWN.  I DID NOT KNOW IF MY WIFE AND BROTHER WERE ALIVE TILL THE NEXT DAY 6:23 AM 9-12-01.  WE MOVED TO FLORIDA DEC.01 TO START A NEW LIFE.  WE WILL NEVER FORGET OR TAKE LIFE FOR GRANTED.  TWO YEARS LATER WE HAVE A ONE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND ONE ON THE WAY.  LIFE MUST GO ON. - BRASCOLE

For FDNY Firefighter Paul Tegtmeier

On September 11, 2001, we lived in a northern suburb of NYC. We were directly affected by the attacks on the Trade Center, as one of the FDNY firefighters (Paul Tegtmeier) who died went to our church, and he was a wonderful man. Needless to say, we lived the tragedy being so close for a long time, and not just because of knowing Paul. People remember very differently in New York. 

We just moved our family to Pittsburgh late this summer. When the 2nd anniversary rolled around, we realized that people here remember very differently than those who were so close. We wanted to carry a tangible reminder for us of Paul, and to also remind those removed from the tragedy how it affected those in New York. We will never forget. God Bless America, New York, and the FDNY.

Because I Feel a Connection to Those Who Lost Family and/or Friends

I'm a captain in the US Air Force who was born and raised in Brooklyn.  I attend Brooklyn Technical HS, Borough of Manhattan Community College and had jobs around the Wall Street area.  I'm a New Yorker to the core.

For years I've seen my fellow airmen wear POW remembrance bracelets and always said one day I'd get one.  While I was searching the internet for some 9/11 information, I came across your site.  I ordered a Memorial Bracelet immediately. 

 

I had many friends that worked in the WTC and my mother was trapped on the IRT during the blast.  Thank God they all survived but I feel a connection to those who lost family and/or friends.  

I let the site randomly select a name for me; Maria Isabel Ramirez.  I plan to wear this bracelet for as long as I serve in the military.  It will stand as a reminder of why I put on my uniform every day and give my all . . .for my family, for the Air Force and for NYC.

Honoring and Never Forgetting 9/11/2001

I need not wait for the arrival of the bracelet to respond.  I think the only thing I may have changed was to have chosen a person's name to be inscribed - but who?  So many beautiful, innocent and heroic people were lost on 9/11.  On the anniversary of that fateful day, I was searching the Internet, looking at many 9/11 memorials.  It was then that I came upon your site.  I have seen many American flag symbols - yet I wanted something more.  I wanted something that would remind me, as well as others who saw the bracelet, of those lives lost. 

Wearing the bracelet is my small way of honoring - and never forgetting 9/11/2001.

Because we are lucky to have each day

I always keep something on my wrist whether it is a rubber band or a homemade item. While I was at Sesame Place I was waiting in line when I saw a man wearing one of your bracelets.  After speaking to him I learned that he was a NYC fireman and he told me to check on the internet for the bracelet. I picked Todd Beamer because he lived about 15 miles from my town and was the same age as me.  Also because it makes you think how lucky we are to have each day.  You never know when it may end.

For FDNY Paramedic Carlos Rey Lillo Killed on 9/11/01

I ordered a Memorial Bracelet in memory of my husband's former FDNY paramedic partner Carlos Rey Lillo who was killed on September 11, 2001. He was a wonderful funny sweet incredible happy peaceful handsome man whom we miss terribly. We have photos of Carlos, a golfball from his Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing, a Tee shirt of his, his CD player he sold to my husband to save money for his wedding. Photos of him and his wife at a wedding we were all at in July 2001. We have a memorial to him on our mantle and I thought your bracelet would be a fitting addition plus it benefitted a worthy cause, the Orphans fund.

For our Friend Gerard "Rod" Coppola Lost in Tower 1

I bought 2 sizes of the same name.  I  gave the bracelet to my husband as a birthday gift.  He was crushed when he found out our friend was a victim.  I wore a POW bracelet in High School, which I returned to him when he came home.  I also have a bracelet for the only man from Bayonne that did not return from Viet Nam.  

Our friend Gerard "Rod" Coppola worked for WNET as an engineer and he split his time between the towers and the studio.  He was in tower 1 above the impact zone, so he never came down.  His remains were found Christmas day 2001.

I am an RN at Bayonne Medical Center in New Jersey, across the river from Ground Zero.  We received patients that were able to RUN from the towers.  I was privileged to take care of some of these brave people.  I will never forget that terrible day.  I will never forget those patients and the stories they told.  I can no longer hear "God Bless America" without crying or having a lump in my throat. I will never forget.  I WILL NEVER FORGET.

So I Never Become Complacent

I ordered them because I didn't want to forget that dreadful day and I am going to wear them as a reminder and as a reminder to others who also see me with them on.  People have a tendency to become complacent over time and I did not want that to happen and I felt that this was a small way that I could do that.

For Captain Patrick Waters

I am a Fire Captain with the Marin County Fire Department in Calif.  After 9-11 a friend at the Santa Rosa Fire Dept commissioned and painted a rendition of a firefighter emerging from the rubble of WTC.  He did 343 paintings, one for each Firefighter who had lost their lives.  I bought (all proceeds to the FDNY Widows and Orphans) one dedicated to Captain Patrick Waters.  In May of 2002 I was able to visit the house (Squad 288 - HazMat 1) that Capt Waters worked out of.  That house in Queens lost the most, 19, Firefighters out of all the FDNY houses.  I met some great guys and made some lifelong friends there.

For My Cousin Who's NYPD Partner Was Killed on 9/11

I ordered a VOT bracelet to support our country and for my cousin who is a NY Police Officer. His Partner was the only NYPD female officer killed.

During the Viet Nam war, I wore an MIA bracelet to honor a soldier/hero lost in combat.  I consider 9/11 victims to be heroes especially those on board United Flight 93.

FOR FIREFIGHTER LT. DENNIS MOJICA

THERE USED TO BE A TV SHOW CALLED "THE BRAVEST" THAT WAS SIMILAR TO "COPS", BUT FOR FIREFIGHTERS.  I REALLY LIKED THE SHOW BECAUSE I HAVE QUITE A FEW FRIENDS WHO ARE FIREFIGHTERS.  WHEN THE SHOW WAS TAPED IN NYC, THEY WOULD OFTEN SHOW RESCUE 1'S PEOPLE.  LT. DENNIS MOJICA  WAS ONE OF THE OFFICERS ON RESCUE 1 AND HE REALLY REMINDED ME OF A COMBINATION OF A NUMBER OF MY FRIENDS SO I KIND OF GOT "ATTACHED" TO HIM.  I WAS VERY SAD  TO FIND THAT HE WAS KILLED WHEN THE TOWERS FELL.  HIS TEAM FOUND HIM 5 DAYS LATER.

I have a Vietnam POW bracelet and I found your website when I was searching the internet to find out what happened to the POW whose name was on my bracelet.  Unfortunately, the soldier listed on my bracelet who went disappeared in 1967 is still listed as MIA.  In my search through the POW network I found reference to your website.  I wanted a bracelet to wear in memory of those who lost their lives in the tragedies of Sept. 11.  I don't want to forget that day and how it made me feel and how I hope it has changed my life.
