So The Loss Is Never Forgotten

I have purchased and wear two VOT bracelets. To me they are the only way I can SHOW the world how much I care about these brave Americans. The first bracelet I wear is for a man in my community who died on AA flight 11 on 9/11. This loss should NEVER be forgotten! The second bracelet is for a recent victim of Al Queda in Iraq...a wonderful person who was just trying to help others...too tragic. Thank you for letting me wear "my heart on my sleeve" with the VOT bracelets. I feel like I am actually doing something to combat the demoralizing effects of terrorism.

For My Volunteer Firefighter

My husband is a volunteer firefighter in our small town here in the Midwest. It's just a constant reminder of those that risk their lives everyday, some without pay, in order to keep our communities safe.

To Remember My Friend

I really love my bracelet. I picked one with the name of a close friend that died that horrific day. For My Husband Who Is Serving On Active Duty

I ordered customized bracelets with my husband's name in recognition of his service in Iraq. My husband, Sgt. Nicholas Joe Solis, Jr. is currently serving on active duty with the U.S. Army 1st Cavalry Division from Ft. Hood, TX. I ordered bracelets for our two children, my mother-in-law and myself to wear during the time that he serves our country in Iraq. I am proud to share with people that my husband serves his country and our bracelets all ask for God to bless my husband as he serves.

For My Mother... Who Cried

My bracelet arrived today. When it arrived, my mother cried when she saw it, because it is her brother's name on the bracelet. He was MIA in WWII.

The story behind that is that they lost their best friend in a black-hawk crash up in NY about a year ago and they wanted something that they could remember him by everyday. I have a POW bracelet and I love it and I decided that I would make them one of his name and his unit. They loved them!

To Honor Our Heros

I really enjoy my bracelet already and know that it will never leave my wrist to honor our heroes. Some local firemen in a close town purchased a bracelet for each one of their firemen with FDNY names on them. The reason why I wanted a bracelet was to honor our heroes for the sacrifice that they made. I will be traveling to New York in Oct. or Nov. in hopes to take the NYPD test and visit the memorial, but I wanted something more to honor our heroes. That is why I purchased the wonderful bracelets.

For My Army Friend

I'm in the Army, and my buddy Mike whose name is on the bracelet was in the Army too. We were both in Iraq flying missions. We were both in separate units so we never saw each other. I stayed in touch with him through his wife and email. He crashed on a night mission just days before he was scheduled to leave Iraq to come home. He was like a brother and will never be forgotten. Wearing this bracelet is just a little remembrance of him daily.

For My Mentor

I am a police officer working in Pennsylvania and recently had a friend (Rod Pocceschi - VBPD) killed in the line of duty. Rod was instrumental in helping me pursue my career in law enforcement and is the sole reason I wear my badge today. I was searching for a way to pay tribute to him and then stumbled across your website while searching for memorial bracelets. I chose your site to order from because of the sincerity of your mission. I felt the Memorial Bracelet was a perfect tribute to my fallen brother and now wear my bracelet inscribed with the American flag, Rod's name and end of watch date with extreme pride, gratitude and humility. To Keep Him Close While He is Away

As a child I wore a POW bracelet with James Bell on it for years.  He was 

from my small town in MD.  When I married, I married a soldier.  As a CPT 

in the Army he went to Desert Shield/Storm for almost a year.  I ordered 

bracelets then and proudly wore one with his name to keep him closer while 

he was away.  As a COL he was assigned to the Pentagon.  I'm pleased to say 

he is a Pentagon survivor but many of his peers were not.  Now as we're in 

our 23rd year of military life, Bob will be joining our troops in Iraq in 

January.  I ordered them this time for the same reason as last time, just 

as a reminder.

For PAPD Officers John Skala and Al Niedermeyer

As the Municipal Prosecutor of Weehawken, NJ, I have the honor and privilege of working with all the dedicated men and women of the Port Authority Police Department at the Lincoln Tunnel.   And, I was fortunate enough to be able to call PO John Skala and PO Al Niedermeyer my friends.  

I purchased the bracelets for two reasons:  First and foremost, to honor the memory of John and Al.  I will never forget them. Secondly, because although everyone always mentions the losses suffered by the FDNY and the NYPD,  sadly, not too many people remember the 37 Port Authority Police Officers who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.   

In proportion to the over all number of police officers in the PAPD, the rate of their losses was higher than any of the other rescue workers.  They, together with the lost members of the FDNY and NYPD, must never be forgotten. - Maria D.

To Always Remember How Quickly Lives Can Change

I have received my bracelet and have not taken it off since I opened the package. The bracelet is much appreciated and is a beautiful tribute. I wanted something that I could wear every day to remind me of the lives lost on that tragic day.
