In the 1970's, we wore Prisoner of War (P.O.W.) bracelets. Today, we also keep others in our memories; Victims of Terrorism and Military Casualties. To keep the memory alive of those who have died at the hands of terrorists or fighting terrorism, we now also wear Memorial Bracelets. People from all over the country are wearing bracelets from Memorial Bracelets located at www.memorialbracelets.com for their own very personal reasons. Below are some of the stories that we have received.

To Remind Me Of Who I Am
The first one I have worn for 8 years now is for a soldier who died on a mountain that I spent two weeks patrolling in Afghanistan. The one I just ordered is for a battle buddy from my first tour in Kandahar. I wear these Memorial Bracelets because they are links to the memories I have of my service now that I am out. It is a link to the pain I feel each day. It reminds me of who I am.
I did the same for a while, then i learned it is best to let go of the pain and live your life freely to honor those close to you who have fallen. Your friends wouldnt want you to live in remorse and pain. Letting go doesn't mean forgetting their sacrifices. Utilize their sacrifice and excel in life because that is the ideals they died for!
